Topic: Question about cloth bag for coins...
Message: Posted by: RevJohn (Nov 21, 2003 11:08AM)

Years ago when I was in Seattle I picked up a cloth bag that was sold at the Old Curiosity Shop down at the Waterfront. It was specifically to hold those polished rocks you can buy. But what caught my attention was that on the side of the bag it read, "The Old Curiosity Shop."

This works really well for some gimmicked coin effects, etc.. as a lead in for patter.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a resource to buy multiple bags?

Go to a wholesale jewelry store supplier.

Our town has quite a few shops set up to embroidery names and logos on items.
Last summer I had a couple of Nearly Normal Magic and Puppets Hats made. Since then I have discovered a sister of one of our High School Staff does the same thing.

You might check into some custom work with your name added to the bags you get at the wholesale jewlery store.

Have a safe and nearly normal holiday season.

I'm sorry, I can't think of any place to get them. I would try using search from your internet provider.

You might try calling them and asking if they'll sell you some of the empty bags.

TOCS doesn't have a website.

Or you could join us here in Seattle next year for PCAM and make a side trip to the shoppe.
