If you've got 10 minutes to spare make yourself a cup of tea and press play...

Considered by some as Roni Shachnaey’s signature effect, ‘Skurot – The Head of Prophecy’ has mystified and mesmerised audiences for over two decades. As always I was honoured when Roni asked if I would give his prized routine the ‘Lebanon Circle touch’ to which I eagerly said “yes!”

Very cool Dan. Do you have a cost on these yet?

Saw these at doomsday earlier in the year. Its an amazing prop just to display. Combine that with it being one of Roni's routines and you know you're going to get an engaging piece of entertainment.

The curious thing about historical necromancy is that it exactly works like that. A question is written on an ivy leave and placed in the mouth or the skull of the necromantic skull. The querant drinks a beverage with some toxic and hallucinatory components (like ivy), then goes to sleep. During his/her dreams, the answer comes.

Aww, man. I'm scared of Skurot....it's going to cause my wife to kill me!

Indeed, it has supernatural powers.

Wonderful! I have watched this evolve over the years and this is simply stunning. Dan had these on display at Doomsday...really, really cool. Straight from the British Museum!

And I wouldn't even touch it with gloves on!

I asked my friends would it be too much to get a mummified head for my antique collection. They immediately said NO! Telling me to stop dwelling too deep. What do they know? :)

Ok, first run has sold out, the studio looks and smells like there's no room left at the cemetery!

Taking reservations on 2nd run available in about 5 weeks.

Skurot is a real work of art, and very realistic. The first night that I had it, it gave me nightmares (really it genuinely did!)

The routine with Skurot is first class and fairly straightforward and easy to perform. I am thinking up new possibilities already, the danger is becoming a little too self-indulgent with it.

this is one item that people will remember you for. The only difficulty I foresee is getting people to touch it, even with gloves on, it is that realistic.

top item!!
