Topic: Why are my posts staying stagnant?
Message: Posted by: pbg739 (Dec 13, 2003 12:20PM)
Hello folks,

I am not trying to bolster posts, but I have noticed that everytime I do, they do not increase.

Is there some formula I'm not understanding?

Like I said, I'm not just trying to get to 50. I just wanna know what's going on.

Peace
Pete

Pete,
your post count depends on many factors, including but not limited to:

1) Many areas of the Café (i,e. The welcome area, the trading area, the Café tech help area, etc) are set-up so posting there does not increase your post count.

2) There are a slew of specific forums whose various rules allow the deletion of posts that do not comply with those policies and with no notice given to the poster.

3) If you make a post then decide to add another line or two but do so in another seperate post directly following the first, our Café team members will often combine the two posts to save us expensive bandwidth and server space.

These are just a few possibilities. I would highly suggest you read the Café rules & etiquette area for a better understanding of how we do things here. ;)
