“One of the most creative people in the world. Everything that he does is well thought out, very clever and usually so far out of the box you would never think of the method. I love pretty much everything Mathieu does”

What will he teach?

Fickle
Make the selected card jump from the deck (no thread).

FAX + Force MB
A very cool, no angle force + make the selected card instantly appear on a piece of paper in a flash of fire.

Leverage
Use a magic pen to find and stick to a card.

The Tickets
A, amazing transposition of a signed lottery ticket from under one card to another.

House and Diamonds
Made shapes cut into playing cards change into other shapes!

Rubber Transposition
A two card transposition where both cards can be seen until the very last moment while being marked by placing rubber bands around them.

Erazed
Make the face of a SIGNED ordinary playing card turn BLANK. Can me handed out as a souvenir.

"Lee"
Writing mysteriously appears on the back of a playing card.

ALU
A very clever way to produce small objects (like a deck of cards) from aluminum foil.

Frozen
Reveal a chosen card by making a waterfall of cards freeze in the air as you cascade them from one hand to the other.

Instant Sandwich
Have a signed, selected card appear between the two jokers as they are tossed onto the table without ever contacting the deck.

Painting
Predict the name of one of your spectators' friends that they will call live with their own phone.

Thinner
Take a deck of cards from it's box, instantly shrink the box flat, then make all the cards slowly disappear until you're left with only the four aces, which he'll place back into the flat box.

Perrier
A perfect prediction where the spectator shuffles, decides on a card, and it matches a message in a bottle.

Plus, he'll also explain his routine where a stretched hairband is "frozen in time"... stretched out... and slowly shrinks back down to its normal condition.

Great news !
I remember falling in love with Mathieu's magic many years ago when I watched the explanation for ALU. So simple, direct and clever.

I'll definitely watch this one.

Wow, that is a big endorsement..lol. Can I quote you on that?

I saw Matthew in person at a lecture. Very creative material the "Perrier" bottle prediction is super killer! It blew away a room of well-informed magicians! Definitely recommend to anyone in magic to expand your horizons and see things you have never seen before.

Seems like a lot is consistent with the DVD release and old lecture notes...thinner with squeezing card deck into four cards is the most fun I've had making a gimmick ina long time...made two over last several years..will be worth price of lecture...

Just having Michael Weber hosting it is worth the price of the lecture.

Anyone else shocked/thrilled that Michael Weber is hosting? I'm sure just the comments from Weber will make the lecture worth the price!

Mathieu's Message in a Bottle effect was amazing. Already made the lecture for me!

Really liked the stars effect--something visual and different with a potentially amazing story--definitely going to do it with the light on my iphone like he suggested.

Michael Weber said that is his favorite Mathieu Bich effect.

Mathieu Bich is now available for downloading!

I wasn't able to watch the whole thing live, but from what I already saw I have to say Mathieu is one really inventive guy! Seems like a really great combination of highly original and varied magic. I'm looking forward to watching the download.

The download is already up - Thx Acar and company! It was an ingenious lecture full of amazingly creative magic and seamlessly hosted by Michael Weber!
Great job all around!

Get someone give a description of message in a bottle.
Thanks

A deck of cards are mixed face down on the table in a mess. A glass bottle with a message rolled up in its knock is handed to the spectator. The spectator then, under test conditions, places the bottle on top of one of the cards. The rest of the cards are shown to be different. When the bottle on the bottom of the bottle is revealed, it matches the message in the bottle.

I think that is an accurate description!

I think that is a fair description, Jamie. Words can't really show how CLEAN it looks, though. A reputation maker, I think.

I was looking forward to the force in fax plus force. Did I miss something or was it left out?
Message: Posted by: MagicBrent (Nov 25, 2013 02:29PM)
Is the Stars effect the marketed effect with the card with the holes that morphs from one card to the other?
Message: Posted by: Zombie Magic (Nov 25, 2013 04:57PM)
There is so much powerful stuff in this lecture. I loved his second deal force with an update on the Dai Vernon gimmick.

Michael Weber was wonderful ( he doesn't age ) and Dan McCreary ( a VERY talented magician ) also did a great job hosting.
Message: Posted by: ash2arani (Nov 25, 2013 05:33PM)
This lecture was brilliant. Bich's creativity is spectacular and Weber and McReary did a wonderful job.

However, unless I missed something, both FAX + Force MB and Erazed were not explained in the lecture. The stars effect is a work of art. Like Dan said, I really want to try out most of the effects taught.

Overall, it is a great lecture and the fact that those 2 effects were missed is disappointing only because I am blown away by the way Bich thinks and my curiosity just wants to know what were those effects about both in presentation and method.

Great job Mathieu. :)

I think his thinking is great and methods are cool , different , and fooling , sometimes the methods were more exciting than the effects . Perrier has to be the best trick on the lecture for me , I had no clue ! I'm a little disappointed Erazed wasn't performed or explained as advertised as I was looking forward to that :)
