Well I'd hate not to have the complete set, having seen Kadar evolve through various stages I'm excited for these. Good luck Chris.
Message: Posted by: Michael_MacDonald (Jan 3, 2014 05:22AM)
Yes between kader and s@nctum I'm building quite the large sets.
Message: Posted by: Michael_MacDonald (Jan 3, 2014 12:11PM)
25% funded so far. I really hope this makes it to print these are to good to waste
Message: Posted by: Michael_MacDonald (Jan 5, 2014 09:05AM)
30%, its going slow but I think it will make it and we will have some awesome tools for readings! I have already started work on some routines and a new reading system for these. if anyone is wanting to start a group to trade ideas with these I'm all game we can do it on the moon forum to keep it google proof.

Chris has been posting more in depth information about the Kadar cards over at the AM site.
There is also a downloadable pdf that is worth checking out.
Have to say the cards really sound fantastic.. not just beautiful, but so well thought out.
Love the idea of being able to do a few tricks and then a reading with the same deck.

New tiers / rewards added for the kadar kickstarter.
2 books. A readers path to the cards and a magician's path.
Each full of routines and the inner workings of the deck.
I upped my pledge to get both books and added a couple more decks.
Total cost... Still less than dinner out.
Let's get these cards funded!!!

I really hope this gets backed fully
such a beautiful and intriguing project
watching the numbers inch up slowly is painful

New tier on the kickstarter page ... leather custom case for your deck!!! Absolutely gorgeous! It also doubles as a place to hide your crib sheet if you need it.
Message: Posted by: horus1 (Jan 23, 2014 11:36AM)
I couldn't resist. I upped my pledge to get the case. I have one of moonskin's fantastic cases from the first installment of AM"s Devil's Library.
I trust this case will also be a work of art. Love that it will be aged.
This will make a nice addition to the "library"...
I wonder if an "Aged" Kadar deck is in the works as another tier on the Kickstarter forum....
Message: Posted by: Wizard of Oz (Jan 23, 2014 02:07PM)
That case is fantastic. Just upped mine.

That blank spot/crystal ball on the face cards is crying out to me-
"So many opportunities!" whispers the Magician, his thin mustache following his lips in a wistful smile-
"Finally--we agree on something!" the Reader responds, her chest swelling in a deep sigh beneath the peasant blouse ..
In surprise they gaze at each other..string music swells as they suddenly and fiercely embrace...

I'll have a glass of whatever you're drinking! ;)
Message: Posted by: Slartibartfaust (Jan 26, 2014 01:46PM)
I actually saw the pledge amount go down yesterday :(

I really really hope this gets funded but it's looking grim from where I sit
Message: Posted by: Balaram (Jan 26, 2014 02:04PM)
Cheer up brother! It ain't over yet!
Message: Posted by: Wizard of Oz (Jan 26, 2014 03:47PM)
If the project doesn't get funded, hopefully enough interest will have been generated that it will be worthwhile for Chris to produce the decks without Kickstarter.
Message: Posted by: espkeith (Jan 27, 2014 07:14AM)
Seems like he has a plan in place, but would love to see this one hit its target. Seems like it was set at a very reasonable level.
Message: Posted by: Christopher Gould (Jan 27, 2014 08:40AM)
I am afraid without Kickstarter it is not financially viable for me to fund and sell privately. The sums of money involved and the staggering numbers of decks involved go way beyond anything that Alchemy Moon has attempted before. So basically, if this does not get funded there simply will not be a Kadar Deck.

(the world waits with baited breath!)

However, the Kadri will decide.

;-)

Sounds like a good time for those of us wanting to see this happen to go out and start banging pots and pans...raising the consciousness on other forums to help enlighten others to come and see the Kadri, er, light.

It's now or never folks. It would be a shame if this kickstarted didn't cross the finish line.
David - outside of the Café are there other places to you're aware of to bang a few pots or pans?
Message: Posted by: Slartibartfaust (Jan 27, 2014 09:25PM)
The kickstarter just cracked 7000
fingers crossed so hard it hurts lol
Message: Posted by: Sicnatius (Jan 28, 2014 12:41AM)
I was just browsing through kickstarter and I realized that most of the funded decks are listed inin the games category and Kadar is listed in the design.that could explain why it hasn't attracted that many people yet.

Regards

Michael

Thanks for all the support guys - really with your good wishes we are going to make it.
Gary, it would be fantastic if Mr Brooks took this up.

Good sleuthing Sicnatius!!
Hopefully they can get it switched over quickly and get some new momentum!
Message: Posted by: Christopher Gould (Jan 28, 2014 07:27AM)
Afraid this aint gonna happen, but I think you have a good point Sincnatius.
Message: Posted by: Bedford (Jan 28, 2014 03:15PM)
Still 7 days, c'mon everyone! These are beautiful cards, and very versatile. Push!
Message: Posted by: Sicnatius (Jan 28, 2014 03:26PM)
If it fails, can't you redo it in the other category and see what happens?
Message: Posted by: David Eichler (Jan 28, 2014 06:13PM)
The Kadri will make it happen. Have faith (and up your pledge).
Message: Posted by: Slartibartfaust (Jan 31, 2014 04:18AM)
Why the heck do the threads re: this project keep getting shifted around?
it makes people noticing and backing that much more difficult

if someone posted in spooky, obviously that is where they intended it to be seen no?
