Topic: "Goonies" Part Deux

My family was recently contacted because a project is currently in the works to produce
a followup to The "Goonies" film of which my aunt was a part of as the maid, (Lupe Ontiveros).
Sadly, she passed away last year due to cancer.

They have asked for certain things that would allow for them to move forward with allowing
her essence to be a part of the project.

Do you folks think that this film needs to see the light, with or without?

It's quite alright if you don't give a ****.
Most of my fam doesn't either...just curious?

Sorry to hear about your Aunt.

I'd say go for it.

The Goonies are awesome. :righton:

I wonder if we'll see the return of One-Eyed Willy? :pirate:

Do it. Unless "it" is the truffle shuffle. In that case, proceed at your own risk.

I would see it, Goonies being one my favorite films. If they will honor Lupe's memory in a nice way (and I am sure they would), go for it. Though I would have loved to see Lupe in it. And the late Anne Ramsey...seeing two great character actresses in the original is quite a treat.

Devious, I think they ought to do it. It would be really nice if they did a tribute to Lupe, too. And (on a selfish note) if they used my title track again!

The film is special to many.
Why not let the writers and director and even the producer say something nice in your aunts memory by way of her character?

I'd go for it Devious and I agree with what Jonathan said above.

Cool, a million thanks for the feedback.
I'll keep you posted. Arthur, we'll plug your work.
