From all other reviews of John Rigg's work this book seems like it is a must.

Can someone please give a little more info about some of the effects?

All of John Riggs' materials are must have's. He is one of the greatest thinkers of mentalism around.

This particular book has about 22 different effects in it (although 4 or 5 are more bizarre magic than mentalism) and a discussion about palmistry and readings.

There are classic effects, like headline predictions, Add a number, spoon and key bending as well as a description of a blindfolding method with duct tape. He has a clever Add a number gimmick with a calculator. There are also some off-beat effects in there as well.

Just listing the effects does a disservice, though, as it is Mr. Riggs' thinking, presentations and stories that really make these effects. He knows how to set a mood for mentalism.

Buy this. You will not be dissapointed.
