Hello mind guys/gals, I was hoping that you may be able to assist me in this particular endeavor. How would I go about forcing a name and a date on someone. I do not want to use cards to do this.

You could use the Parmen***n P**y?

We don't discuss methods in this publicly searchable forum. When you reach fifty posts you can ask this in Inner Thoughts.

I can understand that. What about a book that would discuss such things? Any recommendations?

Would you be able to outline the routine in a little more detail and we could help you downstairs?

Peter Turner has some awesome work on this type of thing. Do you have any of his materials?

I do not. I do not do mentalism, more of a card, coin guy. That being said the trick that I need this for is pretty straight forward a date and a name are "selected" then a coin is produced with said name and date. Straight forward but it works ;).

What is the effect?
Do you influence a spectator and show the coin as your prediction?
Or do you magically produce a coin with the chosen name and date?
Or a coincidence?

The two main resources for any type of forcing are Annemann's 202 methods of forcing and Banchek's Psychological Subtleties.

Alexxander is right on with suggesting Annemann. I think that will suit your needs nicely :)

I think Peter Turner has a coin date force. I forget where.

Freeform mentalism probably.
Best wishes,
