Topic: David Corsaro lecture at Fantasma in NYC 11/20
Message: Posted by: Dave1216 (Oct 28, 2014 10:22PM)
I will be lecturing at Fantasma Magic in NYC on November 20, 2014. This lecture received a fantastic reaction at Magi-Fest in Ohio and the Japan Cup in Tokyo earlier this year. It will feature real world worker material for the close-up performer. In addition, I will take my 14 years of experience working for one of the top marketing agencies in the country to teach you how to expand your brand and better market yourself. The facebook event link is below or you can call Fantasma at (212) 244-3633 to make your reservation.

Here are some reviews:

“David is one of the few who fully understands both the “show” part and the “business” part of show business.” -- Ken Weber; Author of “Maximum Entertainment”

"One of the best lectures we have EVER had at the Carolina Close-up Convention" -- Scott Robinson, convention organizer

"One of the best lectures I have ever seen.” -- – Marshall Petersen, H&R Magic Books

"David Corsaro is a real triple threat . His close-up is funny, original and baffling. His lecture is superb. He teaches his creations in a very thorough and easily understandable manner. He packs small and plays big, getting great reactions from his magic and comedy." - Marc DeSouza

"I have booked David to lecture at the S.A.M Assembly #4 in Philadelphia. The members said that it was one of the BEST lectures we ever had . I also booked him at The Magicians Alliance of Eastern States Convention in 2011. David was a triple treat. He did his lecture, close up show as well as the closing Gala Stage Show where he did and OUTSTANDING job. I would recommend David Corsaro for ANY and ALL magic conventions and clubs.” -- Mike Miller (MAES Convention Talent Chair, S.A.M National Convention Talent Chair)

“David exceeded my expectations! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. "-- John Luka (organizer of the Detroit Motor City Close-up Convention)

Top #10 reasons to go to David's lecture
#10 David knows marketing. Not the "marketing" that will take you from 1 show a month to 1,000 shows a month in 2 weeks. He knows the marketing that comes from a bunch of little stuff that, when added up, makes a big difference in the big picture. He's a smart guy.
#9 David is funny.
#8 David's magic is neither finger flinging or overly simple. It's the right mix of method and smarts and effect.
#7 "Getting To Know You" is a great trick
#6 David is not Will Fern
#5 David is Will Fern
#4 That phone number trick is wicked good.
#3 If you blur your vision it's like watching Ray Romano do magic
#2 I've known him for years and I've never heard him EVEN ONCE say, "I know you've seen a thousand thimble tricks, but THIS one ..."
:band: :band: :band: :band:
Great magic you can add to your performances and great smarts to get you more shows.

PS: I know the top ten schtick is over the top, so ignore my schtick and be certain that 10, 9 ,8, 7, 4, 2?, and definitely 1 are why you should be there.

So David is lecturing in New York? I wish I could be there. I don't like lectures where the lecturer is showing stuff that looks great but you would never do. What's the point of going to a lecture to watch and not learn? I watched David's DVD and I certainly learnt from it. His 'Getting to Know You' trick is, to use one of David's phrases AWESOME!

I wish David lived in the UK so we could hook up more often. However, I am glad he doesn't live anywhere near me because I'd hate the fact he'd be getting all the work!

If you do commercial magic, if you want to do commercial magic or if you want to improve your commercial magic then go to David's lecture.

Seriously…. GO.
