If outer space and physics are your kinda thing tune in to the Science Channel for Space Week. Some of my favorites so far:

Life of a Photon- A particle of light (photon) takes 400,000 to a 1,000,000 years to get from the sun's core, where it begins as a deadly gamma ray, to the surface where it is emitted into space. It only takes 8 minutes to reach the earth.

Science of Interstellar- A look at Space-time, black holes, worm holes, ect. and how they were researched for the hit movie "Interstellar".

Landing on a Comet- After 20 years of planning and a journey of over 10 years, the spacecraft Rosetta is following behind comet 67p and has put a lander on it's surface. Quite a feat when you consider the comet is 4 billion miles away and traveling at 84,000 mph.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Now I'm off to see "Interstellar" at the IMAX.
