Topic: Switch boxes that look like books

I've been making switch boxes with bizarre themes recently, for cards, envelopes, photographs, etc, that are also cool boxes to hold props. And if you think of a box like this as a book, it makes the switch move very simple. This is a craft store box, with gimmick, in a more general magic theme, but of course these can be made in any theme you want. If you've ever made your own slates, you could make this yourself. Cigar boxes work great to hold and at some point switch larger items.

Very nice! Do you have a routine that you current use this in?

Mostly I like the smaller boxes to carry cards and other small props. I use the switch capability to force cards and to let writing appear on a letter in an envelope.
Here's a link to boxes currently available at outlaw effects.

Marc's boxes are fabulous! He's an expert craftsman and a true artist when it comes to making boxes of all kinds, including switch boxes.

Check out his pics and then ask him to make something special for you. He's a wonderful gentleman who delivers what he promises. Highly recommended.
