Hi Everyone,

I have been a long term lurker for awhile now but thought I should register before I get caught.

I too have the habit... hours and hours of my life lost to making small coins disappear... Yet my wife has the natural ability to make large sums disappear on a regular basis with seemingly no effort at all. Maybe I just need to practice more.

I am based in Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, West Indies, where I have a hotel and restaurant business.
(Please visit the website for details)

I thoroughly enjoy this forum and have acquired much valuable information from those who post here. Now that I am out of the lurker closet, I humbly hope to take a more active role...

Very Best Regards

Ian Bland

Welcome Friend Ian!

Nice to have you take time from your tropical paradise to join us here.

I just took the tour of the Island via your web site and I am already ready to start in your direction. It is incredibly beautiful there. 5 Internet Cafe's? What speeds and costs for the net access there?

Hey, thanks for that picture of an Island paradise. Glad you decided to make yourself known.

Welcome. As a prior lurker myself, I must admit that joining makes a huge difference. Now the information flow can travel both directions. Looking forward to your posts.

Seriously, enjoy The Cafe!

Hi Ian!

Welcome and glad to see you exposing yourself in The Magic Cafe. :wow:

It's a wonderful magic site, as you have found out. And you can enjoy it in the comfort of your very own paradise! :coolest: But you have to bring your own tanning butter.

Glad to meet you and I look forward to reading your posts on coin magic.

Just went to your site; you live in a place like that and you spend your time fiddling with coins?
Wow! Now THAT'S committed!
Seriously, I hope you enjoy your time here and looking forward to your posts.

Welcome to The Cafe, Ian from Germany.
It`s a nice place where you are living.
I wish to be able to visit you.
Maybe one day.
Since Tora sent a round of strong Turkish coffee I will send the next round on my bill.

Magically yours

Welcome to the Cafe Ian. I agree with Peter-how do you drag yourself away from the views to practice magic?
One advantage of a magician owning a hotel - your audience keeps changing on a regular basis!!

Yes, but I bet she has been practicing this feat her whole life :)

Welcome out of the shadows and into the main room here at the Cafe. Hope you feel at home.

Thanks everyone.

In answer to some of the questions posted:

What kind of magic do I like? I am interested in close up magic for a bar restaurant setting and magic for kids (as they truly believe).

Who are the girls in the photograph? I am sure you all sympathise that with so many girls it gets difficult to remember names... :smoke: *

(* not true just trying to sound cool)

If anyone hasn't checked out the website for The Old Fort
please feel free. I would be very happy to offer discounts should any of you wish to visit. Bequia is a very beautiful friendly island and being just seven square miles, ideal for the strolling performer!!

Welcome to the Cafe and I must say I envy your place in Bequia.

I've only visited Antigua and the British Virgin Islands for a hotel booking and they were breathtaking.

I'll look out for your posts
