Topic: Chinese Coin In Spectator's Hand

Any advice on secretly loading a Chinese Coin (or any odd shaped or holed coin) into a spectator's hand after doing a switch? I ask because frequently a spectator (usually a friend or family member I'm practicing for) comment that they can feel the hole in the coin and realized I made a switch.

Yeah, just use a Chinese coin that doesn't have a hole in it. :)

You will get this problem a lot trying to switch a hole coin for one with no hole -- it can unnecessarily disrupt the new logic you've created.

Mb's solution is easiest. There are techniques for Tactile Training in which the difference would never be notices, but not usually worth the effort.

In transit by Curtis Kam switches a half dollar for a chinesse coin. I realize that this is the opposit of what you are asking about. That is the spec, and I have used this, does not feel the absents of the hole.

In regard to your question, assuming you are using a half dollar size coin with the general shape of the coin to be switched, placing the switched coin into th center of the voulunteers palm and close their hand so that the finger touch the the out edge of the palm will place the coin in a position where only the outter edges of the coin are touching the hand.
