Meant for Trick Coin Trickery folks too, but I posted a newer recap review of Triception by Mark Mason and Bob Swadling along with pix of my Quarter, Walker and brand new Morgan set I have accumulated over the years. One of the best "bang for your buck" sets money can buy. I felt it important to re-hash sets such as this as we have new members joining all the time and even though these sets are well known to us, a new coin guy may never find this hidden gem until they spend a ton of money piece meal. Hope you enjoy the review, feel free to ask questions on either thread or via PM. :-)

Now you're making me regret selling mine. ;)

There are some really great products out there. That's why I took me 3 months to even make a decision on what to start with. There is a lot of stuff for the money in this set. Thanks for the review. It seems that when people ask "Who is the best gaffer?" some only mention Kuepper, Lassen, and Schoolcraft. I never forget to tell them to consider Mason/Swadling as well.

Have any examples of what they can be used for?

In addition to the four routines (plus one variation) taught on the DVD that comes with the set, just about ANY routine that requires you to use any one of, or combination of the 3 gaffs. They also mix and match with other gaffs you probably already own. There are literally too many to name.

From the ad copy on Mark Mason's site:

Triception includes
1 Expanded shimmed shell
1 Magnetic next generation flipper (Gravity)
1 Magnetic coin
1 Magnetic holdout
1 Magnetic pocket coin holder
1 Magnetic card
1 Step-by-step instructional DVD. Over two hours of knockout magic.

Assuming you add a few matching ungaffed coins there are coins across routines, coins thru table routines, coin thru glass, something like Eric Jones OxyClean routine (some steps would need to be altered), matrix routines, coin vanishes, appearances, etc etc etc.
Routines may rely on the magnetic properties to get the job done or simply for more efficient access/ditching.

As we have said about each other in the past, great minds think alike... I actually PM'd him all that same info (Including Oxy Clean) earlier today. :-)

Hi, Poof-daddy

Do Mark Mason and Bob Swadling make this gaff with any currency?
one thing it stop me from approaching other dealer is that few of them do not accept any custom works
if they do, I might get them to make this set with Barber for me.

You would have to call or email and ask but I do not believe they do. http://www.jbtvusa.com/
I know they only advertise it in US Quarter, Clad Kennedy half, Silver Walking Liberty Half and Silver Morgan Dollar.
