Here's an idea for a television program that hopefully will make its way across the Atlantic to the U.S. "The Next Great Magician" is a talent competition where contestants battle it out to win their own TV special. Derren Brown’s Vaudeville Productions was involved in creating the program, which premiers on ITV Nov. 6. http://www.itv.com/presscentre/ep1week45/next-great-magician |

Really looking forward to this. Some great magicians on the trailer including Rob Zabrecky and Andy Gladwin. Barry and Stuart have an unbelievable routine with a twist on the magic Kettle I believe. https://youtu.be/1eULbpKoPFU |

This is a great TV series with very high production value The only thing I was not too sure about was I personally think the voting should have been by audience ( especially when it got to the final show ) Other than that it is well worth watching |

Stephen Mulhern, the male presenter, is an annoying presence, but the acts themselves are worth watching. |

Did anyone see episode 2? I would love to know if the trick Will Houston did (based on Nate Leipzig he said) is available anywhere. |

Yes, a brilliant trick. It's on his DVD set Modern Magic. Order & Chaos Disc 2. He also demonstrates it on his Penguin Live lecture. |

Has anyone in the U.S. found a good way to watch this program? |

Sometimes the original channels that host the show have it, like itv, but they will say restricted area, only for people who live in XXX Area. In this case, if you are computer savvy you can use a VPN/Proxy to access the site. Alternatively there are many, many online sites which play tv show re-runs. "watchfree.to" (that is a website, which does have it I believe.) If you simply google "Watch "tv show name" online" you will usually get working linking to all the episodes. |

The Problem with this show it was Fixed 3 years on and the winners show has never happened let’s face it If you won far and square and ITV did not keep good on the promise of the prize Then you would be making a big issue about it As the management of this show happens to also be mangerment of the winners then that explains a lot ! |
