The beauty of the blockhead is that it utilizes very common, very real items for a very real stunt. Common nails from the local hardware store at your length of comfort (some folks are good with longer or shorter nails than others...my own preference is for 3-1/2 common nails, which is fairly short, but still gets great response) are far cheaper and more impressive than anything custom designed. As Harley said earlier, be sure to remove all of the burrs first (My preference is to scrub it down with steel wool). For just a couple of dollars, you have enough nails to last!

Had a number of nails sized in length and thickness to suit me also with different head sizes for visibility. Made by Nipps out of surgical metal. Brilliant workmanship. 10 out of 10.
