Hey gang, Just wanted to give everybody a heads up about my show, "'Supernatural Chicago." It's playing every Friday night in an open run at Excalibur nightclub in downtown Chicago. Metromix.com calls it a "Best Bet," and it was included in "10 Cool Things To Do" by the Chicago Sun-Times. For more info, visit http://www.SupernaturalChicago.com See you there, Neil P.S. If you're in the Chicago market, you can see me on the WGN-TV Morning News from 7am-8am this Thurday, May 6. |
|
||
Not sure if I will get to the Chicago area while your run is on, so Good Luck! and break a thread! |
|
||
I'm sure it's an X-citing show! Keep up the great work! Greg |

Best, Neil This just in: I will NOT be on the WGN-TV Morning News on Thursday, May 6. My appearance has been moved to Thursday, May 13. Still during the 7am hour. You can thank a last-minute Macauly Culkin booking for the confusion. Best, Neil |

I just did the appearance on WGN-TV Morning News this morning at 7:45am. And there, for hundreds to see, was the sight of Oscar-nominated actor Gary Sinise, hands clasped, holding his pocketful of coins as the entire studio willed the marked penny within to heat up and bend. It did. :) After the shock dissipated, viewers were directed to reserve their tickets at http://www.SupernaturalChicago.com Best, Neil |

Very cool, Niel. Congratulations!! --Chris |

Thanks, Chris. And best of luck with your upcoming show (and its attendant media blitz)! Best, Neil |

Now's your chance to see the show and support a great cause at the same time -- The performance on Friday, July 9 is an official benefit for the Starlight Foundation (www.starlight.org). Half the proceeds of every ticket for that evening's show will go directly to the Foundation. For other performance evenings, proceeds will go to me :) Best, Neil |

Correction: the correct Starlight Foundation website is http://www.starlightmidwest.com |

The Chicago Reader attended a performance a couple of weeks ago, and called it "a great experience for out-of-towners and uninitiated residents -- what a thrill to sip a cocktail knowing that the bluish form of an early Chicago settler might be waiting around the corner to relight some extinguished candles or cut a ghostly rug." Hope to see you there! Best, Neil |

Another chance for you to be a magical philanthropist -- Friday, July 23 is "Fairygodmother Night" at "Supernatural Chicago." That means while you immerse yourself in Chicago's paranormal lore surrounded by one of the most haunted nightspots in the city, half the proceeds from every ticket goes to benefit the outstanding work being done by the Fairygodmother Foundation. Read more about the Foundation at http://www.fairygodmother.org, then reserve your tickets at http://www.SupernaturalChicago.com Thanks, Neil |

MAJOR NEWSPAPER COVERAGE: The Chicago Tribune is running a feature on me and "Supernatural Chicago" today, in the Tempo section, page 12. The headline: "Necromancer brings Chicago's dark side to light." It was supposed to mention "The Houdini Seance" as well (which is running this weekend only), but I guess space limitations required a tighter focus. Anyway, "Supernatural Chicago" just keeps running, so if you're in town, I hope to see you there. Best, Neil |
