|Topic: "Diviner/Deceiver" by Kent Axell|
"Diviner/Deceiver" is Kent Axell's new book and it's great on a number of levels.
First off, it's aesthetically pleasing. It's an approx. 8" x 11" 100 page fully illustrated (drawing and photographs) hardcover with a glossy cover. It's also well written. It's grammatical and, so far, I haven't spotted any typos (Yes, these things concern me).
Second, it's full of strong material tested in the real world.
Third, it's a steal at only $30. The first effect, "The Test of Time," pays for the book 50 times over- literally.
I won't go into the specifics of all the material in the book. I will, however, list some of the tantalizing titles of the 15 or so chapters:
-"Challenge Cards" (designed to deal with skeptics)
-"Test Condition Drawing Duplication"
-"On Effectively Hiding Your Pr*-Sh** Work" (a topic that you don't see discussed much in print)
imo This book is the bargain of the year. If I were you, I'd order mine now before Kent comes to his senses and starts charging real money for it.
