Topic: Terminolgy - spectator peek vs magician peek

Hi
Do people have different terminology to differentiate these two completely different "PEEK" situations?

1. Magician secretly looks at the face of a card (under various circumstances).
This is a secret part the Method. Usually called a Peek or Glimpse.

2. Magician riffles/spreads through cards till spectator says stop. Shows the card to the spectator without removing it from the deck. Closes deck.
In this case the card is openly shown to the spec as part of the Effect. Often also called a Peek! Is there another phrase that distinguishes it from above?

In a "spectator peek", usually it is the spectator who breaks the cards with their thumb, while the deck is held by the magician.
