Anybody seen this visual effect?

L-Dimension by Korean magician Magicat

Seems amazing on video but I wonder how it could look in reality. It says no wires involved.

It seems it starts shipping March 15th.

I'm not rushing right out to get this. I'll wait for reviews. Seems a little too good to be true.

Itís just a flare effect caused by the camera lenses. It is very common when a bright light points to a camera.

Not sure either but I agree with Eric that the effect looks amazing. Though, if you notice that "jellyfish" thing disappears when the light suddenly gets brighter. This raises a "little" red flag with me. Seems strange. So hopefully we'll know more when reviews start coming in.

RNK,

Ditto. Reminds me just a little bit of Amazing Lite-Flite by Perry Maynard ( https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S9742) but way better and much more advanced. I would like to know how delicate and complicated the set-up is.

I wonder if there is any cloth restrictions? I believe with the wormhole effect there may be something needed to pull the silk from the light but I wonder about the other effects?

Message: Posted by: Puzzlemaker (Apr 26, 2021 04:24PM)
Today I get my Dimension L. Some of you already know that my Englisch is not so good. I will try my best. You recieve a very nice package with all you need to perform the effect right out of the Box. All you need are two small Batterys. Its realy worth the money( 170 Dollar plus 30 Dollar Express shipping. It arrived within 6 Days from Korea to Germany). It's very funny to play with the item and you could came up with your own Routine. It's not very hard to practice but there are some points you have to care about. The ankles are only from the frontside and you have to wear a Black Jackett or Pullover. Yes! You can perform it in daylight but I think I prever a little darker place to perform this( for security;-) Under bad lighting condition you will reveal the Gimmick. Anyways. I like it a lot and I think its great for an opener or to finish your gig. You cant perform it close up. The preparation takes about 30 Seconds. You cant show one hand completely clean before and after you perform the effect. But its easy to ditch the Gimmick into your Baggage within 2 Seconds. All in all, normaly I only perform close up effects but this is worth to practice this effect to start my Performance or close my show.
Message: Posted by: MR Effecto (Apr 26, 2021 04:37PM)
I have not received mine yet but should be here tomorrow. I did however get to watch the instructions and routines. Looks very promising. I would think you can perform around 5 to 6 feet away from someone maybe closer. Angles are best in front of you but looks like you can have someone left to right of you as lone as your a few feet away. Definitely no one behind you or on your sides. For sure wearing black is a must but with the light being so bright this does not have to be performed in the dark. The bright light really hides the gimmick really well. It comes with the gimmick to produce a silk as well and two wands. Glad I got this and it will be a great opener to my dancing hanky routine.

Very happy I pulled the trigger on this one. I plan to use it with my floating table, and floating silver wand. What impresses me most is how deceptive this is even in broad daylight.

How is the set up and clean up?

The set up is no hassle, you get all you need for it, you will not have to make changes in your clothes, it will be an addition to what you wear, the clean up I would compare to how you would clean up a magic wand, I see various

ways to handle this but no major problem.

I hope this helps, otherwise please ask further.

If you use this as shown in the demo multiplying white wand then really no clean up at all. If you use this to pull a silk from the light then there is something you will have to ditch as leosx1 says. Like ditching a wand

You start VERY dirty and you end VERY dirty. You must wear BLACK clothes. This is definetly a stage effect and in my opinion it should be incorporated into a longer routine which allows to ditch the gimmick and move to the next effect.

Puzzlemaker the video you did is FANTASTIC! What a value this board is to us all. People take the time to show what we are interested in and discuss the issues. So impressed with your theatrical, slow and beautiful handling after 20 minutes. PLEASE keep sharing, everyone, like this!

Can it be performed in a usual "kid birthday party" setting? (magician stands next to the TV, the kids are on a couch 2-3 meters away)

if we call 0į the angle right in front of the magician, how far can the specs sit before they see the method?
thanks!

I still cannot imagine, that you will get away with this on parlor distance and in "regular light-conditions".
the effect of the light to support the b*****a*****-effect should be too weak?!?
