Seances? Spook shows? Psychic mysteries? TP'ing the whole neighborhood with your PK abilities? Or just staying home with a Banachek video & Chinese takeout? |

Passing out candy, scaring the snot out of the neighbors, wishing I was in Chester. Mark |

Co-producing and managing Phobia House, a 13,000+ square foot haunted attraction in Kalamazoo, MI. I used to be able to do seances after the haunt closed at night, but we have gotten such a good reputation in the past few years that time no longer allows me any extra-cirricular performances. I would just ADORE the chance to have a Halloween off for once. I've been booked on Halloween for the past 12 years. |

Freak the **** out of people. Just planning on walking around my neighborhood. Brian |

Waiting on a gig............ |
|
||
I have two gig requests, both just parties, no particular places of interest. Also I have been invited to go to a friends party and do some stuff however there I can get drunk. It’s a very tough decision. I may do the first party which is in Redhill as if I do that I can later get a train to my friends house and catch a party after my after-dinner show. The other party want me to do a séance but I really haven’t got a séance routine worked out to a stage where I want to use it. But then again the séance offers £20 more pay. I’m still tied between the two but I must say I am tempted to scrap both. |

Gesh! And I thought I was in a group of real magicians... Oi! I'll be sacrificing a Virgin and dancing the spiral about some bonfire here in western New England. Afterwards, we'll probably sit around the camp remembering those who've past over this past year and around midnight, hold a Seance so we can give our final goodbyes to them all. But hey, that's just the traditional thing we Pagan types do... sad to say, we can't do the Whicker Man thing like the days of old. That's where we made a massive ephigee of a man out of vines, etc. stuffed it full of crooked politicians... I mean, violent criminals that can't be reformed... and burn them alive so as to purify the community... God! I miss those good ole days! |

I wanted to do a seance, but my flatmates are too scared. I shall continue to pester. |

Raising the dead. |

I'm celebrating National Magic Week on the day that Houdini died by donating a day of performance at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Augusta, Maine. This will be my fifth visit there. I will be sending out my first press release on my participation in the S.A.M.'s volunteer programs for VA hospitals in an attempt to get some newspaper coverage. I will have some pretty light Halloween-themed material for these folks. Most of them have seen enough real-life scary stuff not to be very interested in bizarre magic and witchcraft. I am sorry that I won't be in Chester! Yours, Paul |

On Friday night, I'll be performing "Supernatural Chicago," my ongoing show about Chicago's haunted and paranormal past that's been called a "Best Bet" by Metromix.com, "great for out-of-town visitors" by the Chicago Reader, and included in the Chicago Sun-Times' listing of "10 Cool Things To Do." It all takes place at Excalibur nightclub, a location that A&E, the Travel Channel, and such shows as "Sightings" and "America's Haunted Places" have all acknowledged as one of the most places in the city. To read more, visit http://www.SupernaturalChicago.com On Saturday night, I'll be the Medium for two seatings of "The Houdini Seance," which is a National Magic Week event on behalf of the Chicago Assembly of the Society of American Magicians. We'll be doing two more seatings on the previous Saturday. For more info, visit http://www.NecromancerEvents.com On Sunday, I'll be appearing on The Travel Channel in a new Chicago-focused episode of their original series, "Weird Travels." The episode will air at 4pm EST (also, on October 27 at 8pm and 11pm EST). If I have any time left over, I love the idea of TPing the neighborhood telekinetically! Good one, Cheesewrestler! Best, Neil |

I'll be doing 13 performances of my theatrical Seance in Salem Massachusetts, along with Vlad Deich and another friend (Shawn Phoenix). Here's a link to the web page: http://www.SalemSeance.com If you are in the Salem area during the last 2 weeks of October, check it out and enjoy the insanity of Halloween in the Halloween Capital of the world!!! I take care of casting and general people management for Phobia House, then guide tours on performance nights. We open this Friday! Kalamazoo is not THAT far from where many of you hang your hats... it's worth the trip. And Paul, thank you so much for celebrating in the way you mentioned! |

As far as I know, my roomates and I are going to be having a party here on Halloween... so it pretty much goes without saying that I'm gonna booby trap the place to make weird stuff happen. Make lights flicker without anyone near them... random stuff falling off the walls... creepy noises originating in the walls. I guess it's less magic, more stupid and scary... but that's what Halloween means to me, lol. |
