Check this out. Your minds will be read on the Internet. Unbelievable! Murf

Any ideas as to how this works? Murf

Hmmm, it must be malfunctioning, because I clicked on the blue ball without thinking of any of the symbols, yet it displayed the symbol I was "thinking" of. Maybe it's because I'm on a Mac.

Murf:

Repeat it a few times, and think about it analytically. You'll figure it out.

Yeah, this pops up from time to time usually on various magic vendors websites.

As Jim says, run it through a few times and you'll eventually get it.

If you don't, you can purchase my new e-book on how it works for a very reasonable sum.

LOL.

OK, a little spooky at first but after a couple of times it became real clear on the inner workings.

It was fun, though.

This must be age-old. I've seen it so many times on and off the Internet.

Yeah, an oldie but a goodie.

It and a couple of others are on our website. It gets a decent response. We picked it up a long time ago but never had a decent forum to present it. The web takes care of that. You can check the profile for the web address.

I have to admit that I wasn't too impressed. Seems kind of obvious to me.

Took me about seven or eight trials to get it...a bit slow in the afternoon I guess...

It is pretty good, but you can figure it out after a while. :)

P.S. Do it several times with the same number and you will find out. Just a tip.

If you want to see a really strong performance piece using a more or less similar approach then go to Charles Gauci's lecture notes, where he has a card prediction disguised with a clever method.

I had seen this before, too. It's very cool though.
