Topic: Peas for a 3 shell set
Message: Posted by: Degio (Dec 16, 2004 09:19AM)
I have found relatively easy building my own 3 shell set, but I am struggling finding good peas.
I tried with small sponge balls and rubber balls but they are either too soft or too hard.
Any good idea?
Many thanks in advance

Go to a decent Make-up artist and look at their "sponges" It is the right stuff.

You can buy the perfect peas from the School for Scoundrels shell game separately. They cost about $15 USD. They look and work great.

Check with Whit Haydn for more info.

The perfect peas are exactly that - the PERFECT peas. Money well spent...

Karl Norman still makes good peas. I think they run about $10 for three.

Tommy Edwards always told me to cut them out of makeup sponges and color them.

I think Goshman sell really small sponge balls, don't get the supersoft ones though.
