Topic: Red/White zebra silk
Message: Posted by: knmagic (Jan 15, 2005 11:41PM)
I saw a zebra silk in Red and White color in one of the web site but I can't remember which one was that. Does anyone know where I can find that kind of silk. It looks like the one from trickery but in red/white stripe.

And if it's cheap will be better. :)
Thanks
Ken

It's only 18 inch. You can get them from D. Robbins' dealers.

Ken, if you want to consider something a little similar but with a twist you may want to check Stevens Magic Emporium for a routine called "Changeable Handkerchief". The description is as follows and the link is right below the description. I have received good reactions from this.

"A great effect from Yuji Yamamoto. The performer shows two tied together silks - one white, one red. He runs his hand along the silks and they instantly change to two striped silks. These two silks are tied together to form a ring. Then the two-silk circle magically increases. It gets bigger and bigger, until he ends up with a huge, 8-foot circle made up of 10 pieces of silk! This is a very clever, unusual silk effect. Visual. Simple. Impressive. Just the silk trick you want!"
$47.50

Thank you all for the great input. Now I have to revise my routine a little to add in some new ideas that I see. Anyone buy stuff from magic auction before? How does it work? Do you get good/bad experiences? Please let me know.
Thanks again,
Ken
