The suggestion about the silk is useful if you have a shell (or flipper) that's damaged and tight to separate - but only if you can actually separate the pieces. I wonder if trying a bang ring in the right size would be useful. Do you have one on hand?

Hi everyone
I finally bought my first flipper coin yesterday. It’s a Canadian quarter. I don’t know if I am being too nit picky or if it’s an actual problem. When the coin is closed it’s not 100% flush. Should it be like that? It’s not terrible but you can definitely see a tiny edge. I contacted Roy Kuepper about it and he promptly replied to send it to him, but is there a way to fix this problem myself? Thank you! |
