1: Levitate down from ceiling into the middle of crowd in the restaurant.
2: Cut the first two spectators in half 3: put them back together but mis-match the legs (best if you do one guy and one girl). 4: produce an albino tiger from a pen cap or shot glass 5: split the tiger into two tigers, and do color changing tigers (in the hands version). |

* "Hallucination" (rope trick by David Stone)
* "Card Warp" (maybe the ONE trick that got me started on magic - by Roy Walton) * "Ambitious" OR "Old Faithful" (Paul Cummins - preceded by pick-card and a T** change) * Rubber band routine (Crazy mans hand cuffs - Ammar/Harlan, Missing Link - Chris Kenner) * "A christmas tale" ( coin (with a hole in it) on/off string routine - my own) |

Time tested and proven. Maybe they are bit overused (for good reason), but I have never had someone ever say they've seen something before, except for repeats at a restaurant. And hey, make them your own. Hey I gotta say, liquid metal has been my go to for atleast 8 years straight. That has to say something |

My pet routines:
- sponge balls (2 5-inch super soft ball routine) - compucard (card trick) - SCB transposition (johnson) - Bill Switch (TT - sometimes in combination with fire wallet) - CTW (Mullica) I am currently refreshing my repertoire after a few years idle in the area of walkaround. The mini chop cup is my current project. |

I usually change up what I do a lot but 5 that I really like to perform are
1. card effect I came up with called no joke. Just a cool visual effect and it can be routined with a sandwich effect as an opener 2. the classic 2 card transposition that uses a duplicate card. 3. my ring routine which uses elements from ringja, divorce, and ring master 4. Dailys last trick. One of my favorites. I usually will do an ace production if I'm set up and I go into something like VGH or Malones aces 5. something with a bill like extreme burn or dollar to credit. If theirs a group of 4 or 5 people I almost always do a multiple selection routine. |

1. Influence and predict a participant's choices.
2. Read the body language of one or two people. I love lie detector tests. 3. Reveal a number, word or name one or two people are thinking of. 4. Duplicate a drawing someone has made on a card they've placed in a pocket or under a plate. 5. Kiss my own elbow. Kidding. I don't have a 5th. All the effects I do up-close demonstrate these abilities. In a few of the revelations I like to pretend I didn't get it before proving I knew what someone was thinking. Now... why I should list the specific effects I use is beyond me, especially in a public forum where clients might see those effects listed BY NAME. No way. Lucky for me everything I do is genuine...ish.
The secret of deception is in making the truth seem ridiculous.

I have commented on this thread many years ago as it's quite old and have to say this is probably my favourite situation to perform magic in as the angles can be great for certain techniques and you inevitably have to use the spectators hands which is always a good thing.
As with most things the list has altered over the years however I still use all of the effects I mentioned before but not at every gig as I have quite a few favourites that I enjoy performing in this environment. |
