Markedted by Harry Stanley years ago. Richard. |

Richard...
Before this starts up a bunch of speculation here are the facts...Maverick Magic has purchased the mfg. rights to this effect. No one has ripped anyone off. This has been done fair and square. Best Regards Paul Gross Owner Hocus Pocus |

Sorry about that.
Since nothing was mentioned in the ad, I jumped the guns. There was nothing mentioned about the origin of the effect. My apoligies. Richard. |

Handled one at the local shop...very well made and a great effect. So diabolical that you just want to laugh while performing it. Very clean.
Until I saw this I didn't realize that I already owned it under the name of Mastermind II. Do I have a ripoff? |

I have the original one from Harry Stanley.
Got it back in the late 1950s. Probably the best slate trick ever. Take my word, and order it. You'll love this one. Richard Lyn |

Is this actually the same thing as Mastermind II or does it just appear to be the same effect? I would be grateful if somebody could clear this up!
Thanks, Paul. |

What books do you use for the Mastermind II effect? Do you use 2 or 3 books? Did you handwrite or type the info? I just got it and was trying to decide on Books and handwriting or typing. Suggestions?

Peter Warlock's Slate of Mind was also marketed by Tannen's....
The Maverick Magic set is nice, and better-made than the Tannen's set..... |
