One of my doves pooped on one of my blue 36" silks and I was curious....what is the best way to get out the poop stain without ruining the silk?

A great person to ask is Bob Sanders. His email is AmazedWiz@MagicBySander.com
He is on the Café staff and well known for his dove acts. Dry cleaning might be your safest option. You also might try vanishing the dove! :>) |

When Ruth Rice Crone calls your name, you answer! Thanks Ruth! I hope you are doing well.
In all my life do you think I've ever had a dove soil a silk? (Only about daily!) I use Woolite and luke warm water. Don't mix dark and light colors or you may get a surprise new color! Make sure you rinse it well and let it dry flat. (Carefully stick it to a large window or mirror to keep it flat and square. It will peel off when it dries. You may not have to iron it!) Printed silks are less likely to fade than solid colors are. Blue is not usually a problem color. Taking the dove's food and water away about three hours before show time really helps! Enjoy your doves and silks. Bob Magic By Sander |
