I love gary oullet's version. Which version do you prefer? The first one I learned was the one from Fedco.

I happen to like the Slydini routine and the Kaps trick.
One seems almost a kicker/climax for the other.

The Slydini routine using HPC is taught in a few place, BUT the book, Slydini Encores is available electronicly. The Kaps trick is discussed in the Roth book, which is available, if not about to be reprinted. Enjoy.

I love Dean Dill's version using a [. It can be found in one of his Extreme Deans DVDs. He also stated in our email conversations that he will be releasing a new version of coins thru table in a few months time which is supposed to be killer. We'll have to wait and see. But it's Dean, so anything he releases would be very very good.

Quote: IIRC, you mentioned once here in this forum, that David Roth at those get-togethers in a Café -way back-, took some choosen ones aside to show him/them the Kaps version..

There is a funny story about the David performing that trick for his friends. I suspect it was Pat Cooke who said the punch line. Sorry, can't offer it here.
The Kaps thing is in his Koins notes, and works well with 4 or 6 or more coins. Not gonna say anything about my handlings which appeard in Apocalypse. Very direct approaches.

Yes..of course..forgot..the coin notes (Kaps on Koins) are done as a script of the 16mm movie and I even think it was Pete Biro that also did the notes, but I'm not sure, I recall though he did his lecture notes..
But, I just looked it up..it is in Roths Expert Coin Magic..and the name of the routine is similar to a popular util for vanishing a glass..

I had published a stand up coins through the table back in the early 80's, which can be found in my third set of lecture notes. A more recent and updated handling is found in my COINvention lecture notes. I have a very interesting sit down coins through the table which I have only taught at the New York Coin Magic Seminar, but may release it on a wider scale at some point in the future. As I recall, Dingle had a very nice international coins through the table from Dingle's Deceptions. Mike Gallo has an interesting coins through the table, with a kicker ending. I think the kicker was originally taught in Encore Two.
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

There are 2 coins through table routines in Expert Coin magic: one with a folding coin ,one with a mini table.
Which one is the Kaps's routine? Marc |

Neither. The Kaps trick takes the coins through in one "squash".

No gaffs, or extra coins, I'd pick Mike Gallo's.

I vote for Bev Bergeron's. Likewise, no gimmicks or extra coins. He uses it almost as a throw away. I don't even know if it is in print.
One to cour coins (or however many your hand will accomodate) go thru the table at once. Its over in just a few seconds. Simple and direct. About 100 magicians yelled "No Way!" at that lecture some 20 years ago. tg |

For seated work, I still find the coins through table found in Bobo's still great coin book to be more than serviceable and always gets a terrific response. Jess Cone
