For the Keith Harris summer show at the grand theater blackpool in 1983 I put together an Alice in Wonderland magic section with myself as the mad hatter we did Illusions of pushing Alice through the looking glass .....making alice go from normal size to very little.....making food appear on the table etc...etc....Yes Alice in wonderland is perfect for a magic theme......the critics at that season loved it.
Good luck!!!!!!!! Derek
Hope this helps. Creation is life

I Have to agree with Payne .. the magic of Lewis Carroll is an awsome book .. I did a Lewis Carroll tribute show one year at , the Mad hatters tea party hosted by a few tea company's here in town , we made a huge production book and brought all the Characters , out of it , it seemed "corny' at first to us until we really got a good look at the audience reaction , I then did Carroll's Parlor act not perbatum , but a lot of the cool little things he did, dying the rose , and taught everyone how to fold roll a napkin mouse , along with souviener instructions , it was GREAT ! always thought I should try it again
good luck with that one Keet |
