Yeah, I know. There's nothing the Café needs more than another, “This book or that book” thread.
Anyway, I do mainly close-up card magic, and although I feel my routine is strong technically, I want to improve my presentation. I'm looking for some books on theory to help me. I've heard great things about both, and the general conception seems to be that people like Maximum Entertainment more, but is geared more towards stage performers, while Strong Magic is more suited towards close-up performers. Could anyone please clarify this for me? Thanks, Shane Wiker |
