(To TMC staff) I know that this thread should not be here but should be in "Reviews" forum. But this item is really skewed to kid's performers and I would like to share it directly here.
I've just bought Barry Mitchell's Bag-O-Fun and received it yesterday. I like it a lot because it is truly a 'birthday party in a case'. Play a lot bigger than Dan Harlan's video, and the trick can be adapted or modified to suit your style. I like the way he structured the show and provide the thoughts behind his setup and selection of tricks. They also have educational aspect like "Don't be a bully", "Dealing with bad things in life", etc. Highly recommended for magicians who: 1) Just wanted to perform 'one-off' birthday party show. I know there is at least 10 threads where members asked what trick to perform for birthday party for his niece, nephew, etc. 2) Wanted to add something educational to their shows 3) Just wanted to add a new trick to their shows For me, I like his Duck routines as it serves to be a follow-up for my Duck Puppet. Hey, I don't earn any money here. Just visit his site (barrymitchell.com). I think it's worth a visit. And, I do not want to sound as if I condemn Dan Harlan's video. I like his video and I just felt that it is way too small to serve as a paid gig. Has anyone bought this set and want to share with us your thoughts? |

Hi Joseph,
I am very interested in this product for quite some time. Do you think the whole show can play to a group of 10-12 years old? Thanks! |
