Could someone please direct me to sources of videos or dvd's that have strong coin magic using the finger palm. I very much like this concealment because most of the effects using it could be done in eye-level. I already have the works of Troy Hooser and I am very pleased with it, his usage of the finger palm is excellent in his coin routines.
Any references on this matter? Preferably dvd's?

Andrew Galloway did a couple of videos on the magic of John Ramsay.
If you want to work up at chest level, you might also want to explore JWGrip. Shoot Ogawa has made that kind of popular and has videos out. Funny how a concealment gets popular because of one trick Jeff McBride used to tease me about that stuff in the 70s.

It's not a DVD, but the book "The Ramsay Legend" by Galloway is a great, inexpensive, and valuable tool for anyone who wants to understand Ramsay's magic, the finger palm, and the vanish & subtlety that bear his name. I think it costs about $10... and I think Hank Lee carries it.

Thanks Jonathan and Mike.
Where can I find Andrew Galloway on the Videos of John Ramsay and also the book? I am also looking for coin magic at chest/eye level. I already have the 2 Cultural Exchange videos. Any other sources? :dancing:

I know this is probably stating the obvious, but every time I think 'eye-level coin work' I think David Roth and edge grip. The beautiful openness and simplicity of this work, as well as it's divers applications(not to mention the great angles), make it something you just can't go wrong by adopting into your routine. I don't know of any videos where Roth covers this exclusively, but he's done a lot of great lectures on it and he uses it in several routines. It's particularly useful when utilising a prop of some sort, ie a silk or a wand.

The guy may not know about EG work, so I mentioned some and Kainoa Harbottle by name. A he asked about fingerpalm work, and so he got pointed to Ramsay. If folks do some reading on EG work, they will find the seminal works by David Roth in his book, and then my discoveries, and then Kainoa's book.

George,
Try Hank Lee's Magic Factory I know he has the Galloway book, but I'm not sure about the DVDs/videos. Mike |

Thanks Jon and Mike and Tiberius.
Yes, I have been eyeing Kainoa's Coins On The Edge and Cointopia for a while and still am saving up for it. These are next on my list. :spinningcoin: I am familiar with the standard EG work on David Roth's Hanging Coins but not to Kainos's handling of this concealment. Thanks for the sources of coin magic at chest/eye level. I'll check them out.
