I was once called a civet cat
But a cat I cannot be I am a challenger to kings I giggle at all with glee Even though a coward I may be when you’re tall I crush bone with my bite And mock you when you fall. What am I?

The Hyena, althought a coward has the strongest jaws (apparently) in the animal kindom. It is the only rival of the Lion (King of the jungle). The Sound made by the Hyena sounds like it is laughing or giggling and it was once referred to as a civit cat, even though it is not a cat at all but closer to the canine family. Agrippa, in fact, refered to the hyena as a civit cat in his books the occult phil;osophies of the Western World.
Just a little bit of interesting but useless information for everyone. Hope you enjoyed this. Regards Wolflock
