Corn Huskers lotion is a non-oily water based lotion. You might try it. Also most peoples skin is dry from lack of hydration. Assuming you are not working a job that would dry out your hands, are you drinking plenty of water?

Do you put fanning powder on ur cards before you use them? My hands are dry too, but with fanning powder on them, I have no problem moving the slide or other sleights. Without fanning powder on the cards, I've found that man of the slights are hard to do.

Corn Huskers is a brand name of hand lotion available in most well stocked pharmacy or drug stores. Fanning powder is available from most magic stores I can't remember the exact chemical name but someone here will know it. In a pinch you can use corn starch from your friendly grocery store.

Check the "Howie Diddits" post in Secret Sessions, now that you have 50 posts. I think I remember seeing a fanning powder solution in there.
I need a stage name.

Apply to both sides and with a cotton ball and wipe clean. There was or still is a commercial device to apply fanning powder called SooZee but it isn't necessary.
Thanks Stanyon I knew it was Zinc something.
