I've been having trouble getting any info on what is in Best of Friends; Volume 2, and getting any opinions on how good it is. Is it as good as volume 1, or the Apocalypse series?

I agree. it is difficult to find, but worth the effort. I imagine that L&L will publish a reprint of it in the future, but in the meantime, try Byron Walker, Andy Greget and H&R Books.
