Okay, I was under the strong impression that these were two different book tests.
The other night at a local magic shop that I had the pleasure to very recently discover, a regular there told me he'd bought final flashback, and when I mentioned MOAB, he said they were one and the same. Huh ? FF is about $150. MOAB was twice that, I thought. I still think he's mistaken, but would someone confirm please ? Just to put it to rest.

The problem with Final Flashback from what I've heard is that it is rather self contained and is made to be used all-in-one. Personaly, given a choice, I'd use the MOAB and the Final Flashback as I can then pick and choose how much of F/F to use. In either event, either Flashback that Becker has produced will do justice to your act; provided of course that you can perform it properly and carry it over. |

Two very different products, as it has been said, Final Flashback does have a moabt principle in it but it can not be used as cleanly as the moabt.
only one of the 3 books that you get with FF is realy any good on its own, the other 2 need to be used with that book. if you have to choose, Get MOABT, but if you can afford it, get both. and Get Double Vision too! it gives nice variety. In Magic Steve Dela 'Banachek - Dela PK Sharpie' |

In Magic Steve Dela Steve, Not to start trouble but, according to your other post, you have NEVER performed MOABT... how do you feel you can recommend it? |

Not to cause trouble but I have since bought moabt. I know a lot about my proffession and know what works and what doesn't!
I have seen all book tests performed! and performed most myself. I know what works and what doesn't, I know what looks good and what doesn't, I know what is clean and what isn't! that's how I can reccomend it. Steve Dela |

I think the question was fair, as was the answer, but people can also recommend something based on what their friends say about it, or what reviews they've read, etc.
I don't own "The Compleat Invocation", for example, but I'd have no trouble recommending it to a bizarrist. Second hand knowledge can still be valid.
