Wasn't sure where to put this, but thought it was a hoot so stuck it here. It's from our local (very small town) paper, the historical happenings column.
Matt '1935, The Independence, Mo., Examiner newspaper has a large article on Rich Hill grocer Frank Koontz. He is a ventriloquist, who 20 years ago, turned a Rich Hill burial into a riot. As the deceased was being lowered into the grave, a voice, seemingly from the casket, said "Let me down easy, boys. I can't see where I'm going!" Suddenly the casket, now on end, and Koontz were alone in the cemetery!' |

Now that's someone who puts the FUN in Funeral! Reminds me of something I would do. In fact I may have to learn ventriloquism now.

Aw, man that was great best laugh I've had in a long time.
Wonder if anyone figured it out or if he got in trouble.
A direct from text adaptation : The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Starring Mickey Rooney in his final role.
