Well I just came into some money and I am going to be buying a few things. A car. A new computer. A new bed. But I don't know jack when it comes to pricing of cars heh. My father says his brother will sell me a car he never really uses anymore, he is a truck kinda guy. It is a 86' Caprice Classic. It has 130 - 140 thousand km on it. He said he wants what he lost at the casino for it, which would be $3000. Now That is in Canadian just to let you know. Has some wear on the paint on the right side but it sounded good. New tires on it as well. I am just not sure if $3000 Canaidan is worth it for the car.

Well, by my calculations, that is around $2500 American. At that price, I would say that is definitely a bad deal. I got my car ( a '93 Mitsubishi Eclipse) back in 1999 for $4000, and it only had 60,000 miles on it. I don't know how much money you came into, but you might want to consider buying a newer used car or a new car. Also, shop around before you run out and buy something right away. Don't feel like you have to do it because he's your uncle. You don't want to waste your money on something that is going to break down on you a year or two(or less) down the road.
