Max Maven has the very best 7 keys routine and if I were him, I would never put it in print.
I use shackles and Krect. Husband in shackles 5 ladies each has a key and the passes her hand over the ladies hands with with the keys and selects the right one. It makes a nice visual 5 ladies lined up on stage and the man in shackles. As far as plots go remember the story of how Bess slipped Harry a key with a kiss... |

The Curator once recommended that my routine "The Dorian Hand of Glory", from my book, the Dark Waltz, could be adapted well for the Seven Keys. It is specifically Bizarre Magic and not Mentalism. If you have my book give it a look. Let me know what you think.

Look in the book 'Seance'. (a collection of seance magazines)
There is a version in there about a lock on a diary. The owner used to burn her hand trying to keep the spirits from taking over her writings... Then the specator sees if they can open it and they cant with the wrong keys... The one key is mixed up with the others... A person has one try to find the key, she does and finds a burn mark on her hand. Something like that. It's been a little while since I did it. It's pretty cool though. It promted me to go buy the new version of the old key-r-ect. Randi |

Thomas Henry, in his One Man Parade in the June 2005 Linking Ring sugfgests locking himself up with the lock and a heavy duty length of chain. He passes his shackled hands over each key holder to get his "psychometric vibrations".
He also begins the routine with the keys that supposedly don't open the lock on a big key ring, and the lone key that does work on a small key ring. At the end of the routine that lone key goes back to it's lone ring. This is a great subtle way to state that there is only one special key that opens the lock. S. Patrick |

I believe they'll be a nice version in the Scribes new book, Devil of a Bar & Pub, as well, if I recall correctly (key-rectly, oh I am so ashamed).

I use Murphy Chest as an opener for my CLose Up Mentalism/Bizzare Act, since it hold all the Porps that I will use in the Sets

In my routine, "The Exorcism," which was inspired by Jim Magus' "The Number of the Beast," I use a "reverse" version of the 7 keys to Baldpate. A deck of tarot cards, possessed by the spirit of Aleister Crowley is locked inside a holy bible. "If you are a rightous person, you will be repulsed by the key that will open this lock."
So now, the spectators do not want to select the key that opens the lock. I am left with the key that will open the lock. (I am using a method different from Key-R-Rect.) I have not yet published this routine.

Where he explains some routine with the Key-R-Rect. My favorite routine was 7 keys Balbate with the uses of the Music Box. God search Yours Theologian _______________________________________________________________ Hello Theologian, I'm curious about this idea with the music box. Can you share more or direct me towards a source. I'm less interested in doing it and more curious in what the routine is for I have been doing a "spectator finds the key" presentation involving a music box, as well. Best, Christian
