Now that I see your picture I think we met at several IJA conventions. I think at least at the 1995 St Louis convention, when Ignatov flashed eleven rings.

The story that I herd was, when Anthony was 8 years old he won the IJA juniors chanpionship with a flawless performance, I believe the convention was in Cleveland Ohio that year near Bobby's home, Bobby May was the guest of honor, and "the king" is what Bobby put in Anthony's program. That is how I heard the story.

PS-I would guess that Mike the seasideshowman must be as old as I am.

The Cleveland convention must have been 1982. Anthony won the seniors competition in 1986 at the age of 12 years. In 1987 at the Acron convention a young man won the juniors competition, who was proclaimed the next Anthony, and as I remember him he was a very quiet, and shy 16 year old named Jason Garfield. Jason sure has changed over the years.

I'm sure you understand it is all an act. I've eaten with Jason, and he is a perfect gentleman when the mike is turned off.

I didn't think otherwise. Jason is a great showman. He's appearing at the BJC this year with the WJF. First time WJF has come to the UK, so I'm quite excited.
