I have had an idea for the longest time and never found someone who could make it for me locally (non magician). I need a motor, nothing huge, just to make a plastic wheel turn. I would also need a trigger like in a fism flash. I could just have it in my pocket with the wire in my pants. Who would you turn to in your community? No one seems to be able to custom build what I need...

Consider tearing apart a radio controlled car. You can find some cheap RC cars at most toy stores so you can experiment with the idea to see if it fills your need.

Try a web search, the folks who make Christmas displays for department stores may have old parts with the correct gear ratio for speed control.

Try one of the RC car upgrade kits from Radio Shack. Lots of different motors wit lots of different gears.

Hi Eric,
Fellow Canadian Here!!!! I have LOTS of experience with motors big and small. I'm an Aircraft Component Technician and have a big passion for High Performance Electric Model Aircraft. If you need any help PM me. I'm sure that I can help you out with this application. Not just with the motor but with the battery pack and actuating mechanism too. Michael Berends
