I'm wondering if anyone would know where I'd be able to find these hand stitched balls for the cups? OR if they are even available anymore.
I'm also looking for a small magic wand with metal tips that'll be somewhat durable. best, hieu |

They come up on eBay from time to time. You can get some good ones from Christian Jedinat at http://www.jedinat.com They are available in several colors.
Auke van Dokkum makes the best ones. They are €20 per ball. http://www.cupsandballs.nl What size wand do you want?

The wand I'm looking for is a black one with metal tips. Something akin to what david williamson uses on his tapes from a while back, I perform his coin routines and his cups and balls, but some of my things were misplaced while I've been moving from place to place.
thank you, hieu |

Actually it is cheaper to make your own wand, all you need is a metal rod and a length of heat strinking tube.

The dimensions that would be nice to find is a 12-14" wand, 1/2 inch or somewhere near there in diameter. Something sleek looking I suppose, I've performed on the streets also and I'm well aware that I could use a drum stick wrapped up with electrical tape and such, but I'm looking for something for more of a table hopping situation or for indoor gigs. I hope that helps Bill, and thanks for the other information I've received so far. The wand from penguins magic looks interesting, and the products from Auke van Dokkum's site looks absolutely beautiful and if I have to I might possibly get the wand that's about 30 euro from his site. But I'd rather spend less money locally in the US if I could. It's just a tad too much for a wand.
hope this helps, hieu le |

It looks good, I don't have it, but I have a similar one from my local magic shop.

I would avoid the Penguin wand. This looks to me like a re-hash of the MM "Collector's Wand" with brass tips, only chrome plated. I had several of these. If you screw the sections together, they do not always form a straight wand.
I do recommend the tabman products without reservation. If you want a relatively inexpensive wand, he can custom make one for you quickly.

That is what I did. I got a custom tabman wand. It is fabulous, at a very good price.

What custom wands does he make? His site shows about 3 different types. Is the basic Walnut nice?

Sure is! I have one. The one he made for me (it was custom made) has a diameter of about .6 inches. It is nicely balanced, and looks very nice. The weight is good too.

I think I'm going for the tabman wand, although I'd prefer the black wand with metal tips from Dokkum, thanks for your help so far.

I've always liked the two for one wand. You can unscrew it and put the brass tip on one half. Makes a nice walkaround wand. They are in the Linking Ring I believe.
