I'm constantly impressed that certain board members here seem able to recall exact names and origins of different effects. Obviously, I'm not one of them...
Here's the effect of the headline prediction I remember reading: Performer mails his sealed prediction to trusted individual, who brings it weeks later to the performance. Shortly before the performance, the Performer approaches the trusted invididual to check it to make sure the mailed envelope is still intact. Verifying that it's okay, performer then starts to seal it in a still larger, manilla envelope for safekeeping, but then remembers he wants the trusted individual to sign it first. It's removed from the (as yet unsealed) large manilla envelope, signed, resealed in a large envelope, and kept by the trusted individual, who opens it himself during the performance, and reads what turns out to be a correct prediction. I remember the method, but now that I'd like to perform it, I want to refresh my memory on the exact preparation and handling. If you recognize the effect, can you please tell me what book it came from? Thanks

Also very similar to Gibson's Headline Prediction, written up by Al Mann in "Breakthrough".
We dance an invisible dance to music they cannot hear.
