MY sister (18 ) is fighting with my dad they wont speak because my sister isn't really grown up yet and she has lived at my moms house and his house back and forth back and forth I dotn know what to do!! he says when she says she is sorry for calling him awfuyl names and after they talk it out it will be good again.. What do you think? ( my father just got married wen htis happened and my sister claims it is her fault and his wife changed him )

I think the family should go see a family councelor it seems like there are some serious issues here.

Are either of them upset because of this rift or are you being upset for them?
If she is 18 then she can go out and live on her own and needn't worry about having to be in contact with her father ever again if she so desires. Just because you're related to someone doesn't mean you have to like them or get along with them, and sometimes it is in the best interest of all concerned just to leave and find ones own way in the world. I see so many people fill themselves with dread and angst around the holidays as they prepare to travel to family gatherings that they'd rather not attend. All this stress could be alleviated if they just left well enough alone. I've been much happier since I came to the realization that just because you happen to share the same DNA with someone doesn't mean you have to like them or even get along with them. I rarely have contact with any of my family and we are all the better for it.
