Hi all,
I am looking for a decent fountain of silks to add to my stage act, does anyone recommend the "End of the Rainbow Fountain of Silks" that can be found on: http://www.dazzlingmagic.com/silk_magic_3.htm ? thanks George |

Hi George:
I don't have this silk fountain, but have a number of other Dazzling Magic silk items - they're all high quality and excellent values. I'm sure you'll be happy with this one if you get it from them. Ron |

Ive never heard of the "End of the Rainbow silk fountain" but it sounds really cool. I own a Classic Silk Fountain by Duane Laflin and its very good. I highly recomend it but then again I don't know about the quality of the "End of the Rainbow silk fountain".

I have the Dazzling Magic Fountain of Silks with Dove Production and I love it. I think it is better constructed than the one by Laflin Magic for two reasons: (1) the weight of the silk used by Dazzling Magic is heavier (8 momme, which makes it more durable), and (2) the stitching used by Dazzling Magic is also better. If you get the basic silk fountain you could always add the streamer and any other items later on. I no longer have doves but basically bought the fountain of silks with dove holder so that I could produce a couple of streamers and an appearing pole as my final production. I don't think you will regret getting a fountain of silk from Dazzling Magic. You could always get one by P&A but then it will cost you a little more than twice as much.

I also make a silk fountain that can have streamers added to it if desired. You can watch a video of it at http://www.hughesmagic.com.
Jimmy, is correct in saying to use the heavier silk as it will hold up longer. Mine are made of 8 momme. Though I do make them up with 6 momme for Dale Salwak and others on special order. Richard

Try out Jay Scott Berry's "The Diamond Silk Fountain". I've seen him perform it and it's good. It's a new working on an old classic.
