Well, basically is it possible to levitate something with either? If so, please say which is better the M5 or the Bat? Can the bat produce pk effects?
thanks FLorian |

It's somewhat possible, but not with the pk devices alone. They just provide one of the two necessary "hookup" points. Chazpro sells (or at least used to) an effect called UFO that was such a levitation. I never could get the hang of it, so I kept the gimmicks for other, more basic PK effects.

I dont think it matters what your useing, if its the M5 or some I.T. in my experiance animating is stronger than levitating, levitating is too obvious for laymen.. I plan on getting an M5 for the PK value, and hadent even considered levitation with it
Just my 2 cents |

I am an experienced performer but unfortunately a self learner and I am horribly ignorant when it comes to the specific words that you use to communicate about magic -- because I have never communicated about magic before now -- so, could you please tell me what is meant by pk?

Rob--
If I'm not mistaken, the PK referred to is Psycho Kinesis... like moving objects with your mind... JN |

Is it possible to suspend something with it then use an m5 to control it's movements? To a certain extent that's kind of unnecessary... any views?

I bought mine at Ellusionist.com (sp.?) for the forum and online 'manuscript' of sorts, but I think the one from Penguin is the same unit.

The M5 is MUCH better than the Bat. I have a friend that has the bat & I have the M5, the M5 has a much more powerful &^$*#% so the effects can be done at a much longer range.

In my opinion, the M5 is much better than the Bat. It is more powerful, and more effects can be done. Yes, it is more expensive.

That's what keeps me from forking out all the money for it. I've never seen anybody perform this stuff in person, but it doesn't look too amazing to me in the videos. Maybe in the right hands, though...
Plus I'm still worried that it would erase my spectator's credit cards. Not a very nice thing to do. |

Ok, so you guys want reassured? Here's one of many of my experiences with this device:
After doing the haunted deck to a girl and her friends (that I had never met before) we got to talking about psycho kinesis. They wanted to see more so I pulled out a small velvet bag. I told them I don't do this often because people have a hard time accepting it. After a story about a modern day sorcerer and his ability to levitate freely, I pulled a small bone from the bag. I said it was a bone from the foot of this man after he died. They were a little nervous but the girl took it in her hand. After about 3 minutes of my concentration I tapped into its energy and one end of it slowly twitched then lifted smoothly into the air. I didn't get a look at her face but there was complete silence. The bone was standing completely on end after about 10 seconds. The next thing that happened suprised me as much as the girls. I saw the girl's hand go limp. The bone fell to the ground (and luckily didn't break), and the poor girl feinted! A combined effort from her friends and I kept her from hitting the ground. She lay there and came to after a few seconds. All of them didn't know what to say. She was alright but very shaken. Still, after all that trauma, she said it was the most amazing thing she's ever experienced. That girl has visited me a few times since but I've never done any psycho kinesis on her. There was just no need, she was more than amazed. You see, this can be the most amazing thing for someone to experience if you can pull off the artistic performance of it. I've never been caught but then again I only do it for the right crowd at the right time. I've had some people start crying and laughing at the same time. If you guys want to have the reputation that I've gotten, buy this item. It's worth its weight in gold. PM me if you've got any questions. -Christian

I have a better non-metal effect that will make a spectator flip.
Get them to hold their hand above a candle/lit match/lighter flame, so that they can just feel the heat without burning themselves. Tell them that you are going to turn the energy from your mind into extra heat. Bring the M5 about 4 inches from the flame and to the side. Watch them suddenly pull their hand away ! The &****t increases the oxygen burning rate by allowing and extra oxygen molecule to attach itself to the burning process. If you don't believe me try it (on yourself first!) |
