Hi Maxx,
the routine is the onlyone in print right now! So get a copy of DesTroyers. For more material you could check out everything on Ring on Strig since I guess that was how it was inspired!?? Greetings from Germany Stefan |

Hey Stefan, as you are from Germany, too, we could perhaps meet for a coinmagic session or whatever comes to our minds. So where do you live in Germany? Lass mal was von dir hören!

Thank you! I visited the site immediatly, nice design work. I also registered my name. Guess I will find there Stefan! I live near Dortmund, so if we decide to meet we have to plan it carefully because of the distance. See you!

I use the coin set sold as Beggar Coins. The coins work fine for the trick.
With the set you get 2 shells a giant coin ,and a coin with a slit ,so you can build a rather complex routine. Best Marc |

Great review, Dan.
CCC (with A Touch of Brass) & ExTROYdinary are among my best routines (I carry these in my pocket as I write this) too. I would definitely get this DVD as reference material & to see visually how Troy and the rest present their handlings. Hmmm....I wonder whether this DVD will be sold locally (since Bob Kohler's Ninja Rings by Shoot Ogawa is being sold by dealers--which I also happen to have). |

Tony, it is not exclusive to BKM it is sold at magic shops. From what I hear Troy Hooser is selling it at a significant discount. I have Troy's contact info at the bottom of my review of his DesTROYers book on my website.

I love this routine, not just for its strength and beauty, but for the inspirational effect that it has on the mage that it charms. It is elegant, AND it lends itself to variation (a fact beautifully illustrated on the new DVD).
If you'll indulge me, I'd like to share some of my ideas for CCC with my fellow charmed coinjurers. 1) I've been playing around with applications of both of Bannon's ring-and-string ideas from "Impossibilia". For example, I've been ending CCC with a phase (utilizing the "Revolutionary Penetration", pg. 59) where the spectator causes the last coin to penetrate from the ribbon as it openly hangs out of your breast pocket, only to appear in their closed fist. (I should mention that you end completely clean.) 2) The Spellbound phase is perhaps my favorite; specifically because there are so many wonderful ways that one can handle it. I've been using a classic (Vernon) Spellbound move to visibly pull the ribbon off of the coin, followed by Sol Stone's "Tumble Change" to visibly place the ribbon back on. 3) Apollo's "Karma Sutra" penetration is wonderful, and it, too, opens doors to endless possibilities. One of the challenges I encountered was figuring out where to put this phase in my routine (since I liked it that much). I noticed that, with a little alteration, this could be used as a stunning preamble to the spectator removing the second coin. I do not tie the ends of the ribbon together, and since eliminating this precludes the use of the final display, I do this instead: after the penetration I place the loose coin onto the other (and not in readiness for TP), I grasp the dangling ends of the ribbon, and pull straight up. This instantly bring the b***c***ed coin into view, which appears as if it was magnetically pulled back on to the ribbon. As this happensd I retain the loose coin in right hand FP (Ramsey subtlety). Then I proceed with the second penetration (where I always use Thomas Wayne's display, with the spectator pulling the coin off). This last line of thinking has led me to a 5 phase version of the routine, which alternates between the spectator's hands and mine (beginning and ending in their hands). Variations abound!
