I don't have all the details, but apparently the great Lou Walston, who owned and operated the Funhouse Magic Shop in Baltimore for years, and hosted an annual magic and clown convention in the Baltimore area for years, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2005. Please check with others and with the Funhouse for further details.

Matt, That is sad news indeed! I was an old friend of Lou’s. I enjoyed his Big Three Funhouse Convention for years and was a regular at the Funhouse until he sold it and it moved (and I moved!). The Café’s own Martini has continued the Big Three Convention as Funarama. Lou was in attendance and honored there just last year. He was a giant of a man with a big heart. Baltimore, Clowning, and Magic have lost a friend!
The artist formally known as Mumblepeas!

Yes, Lou sold me a lot of magic the year he gave up the Big Three Funhouse Convention to Marty Martini.
