At the end of my birthday party show I give the kid a magic set and make a paper rose for mom. I’m looking for a way to magically turn the paper rose into a real rose. I don’t want to use flash paper because it’s a kids show. I’m trying to think of a way to wrap it in a silk or a sheet of paper and then unwrap it to reveal the rose. Any ideas?

Thanks. I'm not sure where to look for what you mention. Is "napkin rose gets um" a web site? By the way...I'm a John Prine fan too. Saw him here in Asheville a few years ago.

"napkin rose gets em" is a thread at this forum, so just do a search 4 it. The post was made by "jaxson" about changing the napkin rose into a real one. To be a John Prine fan tells me a lot about you.

Another way of doing this is with a fake rose or a real rose and then doing a switch for them. You would need to have the rose as a body load and make a logical misdrection for the steal. I can not go into details here, but can if you PM me.
